It is a division for producing all types of mixed concrete with its all forms (normal, resistant, cast….etc) and cement products (edges, tiles, bricks and interlock) which we produce automatically.
Khayyat Contracting & Trading has established several mixing plants throughout Damascus and Damascus countryside besides the movable ones in order to provide the demands of its projects and to provide a part of the local market demands. Moreover, these weighted mixing plants are equipped with the latest technologies and automated systems by computer which meet the highest international quality standards and with total production capacity exceeded 3800 m3/day. This division is also equipped with wide range of modern and developed machines which ensure the proper work flow without any hindrance, delay or without any delay towards the customers under all circumstances and at all sites. It also includes the capability to meet the demands in quantities without delay.
Since the evolution of this division and in order to satisfy customers and maintain their great confidence in the Establishment, Khayyat Contracting & Trading has established a laboratory to control and monitor quality. This laboratory was equipped with the latest international test equipments of high reliability. These tests include:
- Test the granules grades of supplies through screens ASTM C136.
- Test measurement and chemical analysis for very fine substances and which pass through screens (200) micron 75- C117 ASTMN.
- Test the qualitative weight and pebbles and sand absorption ASTM C127/C128.
- Chemical tests to define impurities in sand ASTM C40.
- Los Angles Test to define pebbles resistance (anti-collision).
The laboratory controls quality also by designing concrete mixtures through the most modern programs in this regard and it compares it to the reality. The laboratory monitors mixtures produced daily through some field tests and other internal laboratorial ones regularly and continuously.
